I will overwhelm 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
